#PHOTOGRAPHY BY LIN
MINNESOTA, 2015
A first look at the world, through a lens
In 2015, during an exchange semester at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, CompoundWater picked up a camera in earnest for the first time and captured the world on film. This is the first complete body of work from that journey, in four series: Portrait, capturing expressions and gazes; Moment, the unplanned instants of everyday street life; Still Light, the quiet flow of light and shadow; and Wabi Sabi, finding beauty in imperfection and the marks of time.
About This Collection
2015, I were an exchange student in the University of Minnesota, Twin City. My life changed a lot at that time. I met so many good people, and also at there I feel photography really helps me to approach life like an explorer - curious and open. It teaches me to slow down, pay attention and find beauty moments in our world ! It gives me a deep appreciation for the world around me. Hope u enjoy my first works!
